The talking parrot who wants his morning coffee.

We have been finding all kinds of interesting life here on the farm. Turtles, tarantulas, snakes, toucans, eagles, parrots, lizards, sloths and the list goes on. We have some kind of adventure everyday. Here is Barry and the turtle Smoky found in the creek.

This is the start of our new camping/steam room facility. It will have two rooms that will have tents with mattresses in them, full bathroom and shower, an outdoor kitchen including a Pompeii oven that Barry is going to build out of rocks and a steam room that will have a basin in the middle that will hold hot water and fresh herbs for relaxing. They are delivering the rest of the materials today. You can see how this guest area finally turned out here.

Starting our Tropical Garden

Our garden is looking great. The corn is in the front, the cassava in the back and plantain on the side. We also have about 60 hardwood trees growing in between the plantain. We planted them to replace what we used for the cabin. We have planted a total of about 150 and will plant hopefully 300 more.
