Great Kiskadee

The Great Kiskadee belongs to the Tyrant Flycatcher family. There are many of these birds on our farm and they are very loud. I have several times been in bed trying to sleep and yelled at them to shut up! Some people say that their voice sounds as if to say ki-ska-dee but all I hear is a constant nagging. Flycatchers are found throughout Costa Rica and luckily so or this place would be over run with flies.
