Utah National Parks – Moab, Canyonlands, Arches, Bryce Canyon

This video was taken in early November during our road trip of 2010. We loved Utah’s parks and beer. If you look back into the archives of this site you will find our Zion National Park video and the 6 pack firestarter video, both also shot in Utah but they deserved their own video’s. Moab was our favorite small town of the trip and we highly recommend the Moab brewery for great burgers and great beer.

Arches National Park

This is Utah’s Arches National Park. The entire park is filled with inspiring places and views. For Christmas, get your family a National Park Pass that will make it easier for you to get up and get out. Remember that the secret of sunbursts is F22. As a photographer, you must always go early and stay late. The sun rises early and so should you.

These star images were taken at midnight. Double Arch configuration is huge and it is a fun test to see how much sky you can get behind the scene without hanging from a bungee cord. This is one of the most popular angles. We have seen similar angles before but there is nothing like making one for yourself.
